  AI tools make coding easier, but I've felt my intuition and problem-solving skills getting rusty, especially after years managing instead of building. Jeremy Howard's How to Solve It with Code course is helping me fight the atrophy through exercises that force me to understand what's actually happening under the hood. It's about using AI without turning into the humans from WALL-E.

  I'm starting a course on agentic coding that pushes experienced developers to stop writing code by hand and instead master directing AI agents through tools like Claude Code—a shift I'm embracing after seeing the latest models' capabilities. While I'm betting on this approach, I'm also keeping an eye on Jeremy Howard's contrarian philosophy that emphasizes manual coding skills, and I'm considering taking both courses to stay irreplaceable.
